Biography

LARISSA TIGGELERS (based in Regina, SK) holds an MFA from the University of Guelph and a BFA with distinction from the Alberta University of the Arts. Tiggelers is currently an Assistant Professor in the Visual Arts Department at the University of Regina. Her work has been shown in numerous exhibitions in Canada, and in November 2017, she attended a month-long residency at Elmo’s House Artist Residency in Batan, Aklan, Philippines [see Acclimatizing Cadence exhibition and text]. Her works are included in many private and public collections, including Royal Bank of Canada, Alberta Foundation for the Arts, Cadillac Fairview, Cenovus Energy and McMillan LLP.
