The gallery is pleased to present new work by Brian Boigon, opening Saturday, January 20 and continuing until Saturday, February 17.

ER1 2 3 4 constitutes the performative twining of quantum entanglement. Entanglement is the uncanny magic contained deep within the connectedness between things across the universe. We are still at the Interopera. Brian Boigon devises a set of artistic beacons that shuffle representations between the flesh of locomotive animals as in the Stag, becoming Monsters dripping out of the thoughtships of an AI Blender and through the capacitors of Boigon’s mashed-up drawings, to vaporize into outer space. This is the logic catapult named the (quantum) Entanglement of Rapture.

The Entanglement of Rapture is a poetic foil that further delves into the universe of total connectedness. It is here and there that science fiction is everywhere. Three characters are added to the Interopera cast, already consisting of Alpine, the queen mother; and her daughter, Ember, who were the nonlinear throat of the future, designed by Bento. Two monsters, entangled, as aliens can be in two places at once, are the sentries of a portal of infiinity. The Interopera continues to create emblems of one-foldedness, in this case, two stags in adjacent dimensions of non-dualism, catapulted into outer space.

Brian Boigon wishes to thank the entire production team that helped put the ER (Entanglement of Rapture) together: Haoran (Harry) Gong, Emilie Tamtik, Richard Schutte, Sergej Milesk, Yichen Cheng.
